When community partners listen and respond with compassion, meaningful impact follows. The Fieldstone Foundation is incredibly grateful to Casella Waste Systems for once again stepping forward to help meet a growing need in our communities.
When Casella learned that the Backpack Program experienced a 17% increase in need this year, their response was immediate. Rather than asking if they could help, they asked how they could help.
Through their generosity, Casella sponsored eight children for an entire school year through the Foundation’s Adopt-A-Child Program. This support helps ensure children have access to consistent weekend meals and snacks, providing nourishment, stability and peace of mind for families facing food insecurity.
“When partners like Casella step forward, it allows us to respond quickly and thoughtfully to growing need,” said Amanda Tagliarino. “Their willingness to act ensures children don’t fall through the cracks and reinforces our commitment to turn no child away when they need our support.”
Casella’s continued partnership reflects a shared belief that no child should go without basic necessities and that addressing childhood hunger requires both awareness and action. Because of supporters like Casella, the Foundation is able to stand firmly by its mission and meet families where they are.
We are deeply grateful for Casella’s steadfast support and for their continued investment in the well-being of children across the communities we serve. Their generosity is making a real and lasting difference for children who rely on the Backpack Program each weekend.
