Making the Holidays Brighter Through Community Partnerships

The holiday season is meant to be a time of joy, connection and celebration. This year, the Fieldstone Foundation was honored to work alongside community partners to help ensure local children experienced the warmth and excitement that Christmas brings.

With the support of generous partners, the Foundation sponsored full Christmas celebrations for 30 children across the region. Each child received thoughtfully selected gifts that reflected who they are as individuals. Sizes were carefully considered, along with favorite interests, hobbies, colors, superheroes and characters, ensuring every gift felt personal and meaningful. Even the small details mattered, right down to including batteries so presents were ready to be enjoyed right away.

“These weren’t just gifts under a tree,” said Amanda Tagliarino, Senior Director of the Fieldstone Foundation. “Each child was truly thought of. We wanted them to feel seen, valued and cared for, and that meant paying attention to the details that make a gift feel special.”

This collaborative effort was made possible through the generosity of the Martin Family, TruNorthern Federal Credit Union, Leonard’s Cherry Knoll and local school districts who helped identify families in need with care and discretion. Their partnership ensured support was provided in a way that was respectful, thoughtful and centered on dignity.

What made this initiative especially meaningful was the shared spirit behind it. Neighbors, businesses and schools came together with a common goal of lifting up children and families during a meaningful time of year. These partnerships demonstrate the power of collective generosity and the impact trusted relationships can have when a community works together.

Because of this collaboration, 30 children experienced a holiday season filled with joy, kindness and the reassurance that their community cares deeply for them.
