Funds will help expand events, workshops & more

The Fieldstone Foundation is proud to announce a $5,000 grant awarded to the Foothills Art Society, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting art awareness, creativity and connection within our community.

The Foothills Art Society plays a vital role in our community by sponsoring special events, hosting workshops and exhibits, supporting local artists, offering children’s events and fostering community partnerships.

Presently, they are in the planning stages of a renovation project for their existing space on Pearl Street in the Village of Malone where they will create a lively hub of activities for greater access to arts and entertainment in the community.    This expansion will enable the organization to further grow and strengthen the arts locally through community involvement, tourism, commerce and education.

The Foothills Art Society offers various programs, events, and workshops at low or no cost to community members. The Fieldstone Foundation’s support will enable the Foothills Art Society to continue expanding these offerings.

“Art has the power to bring people together, create a sense of belonging, and enrich our lives,” said Amanda Tagliarino, Senior Director of the Fieldstone Foundation. “The Fieldstone Foundation believes in the transformative potential of art and is delighted to support the Foothills Art Society in their mission to create a more vibrant, engaged community.  We encourage everyone to learn more about the Foothills Art Society, attend their events, and support their vision for a thriving, connected community.”
