The Fieldstone Foundation announces a remarkable $15,000 joint gift from Community Financial System’s subsidiaries OneGroup and Community Bank in continued support of the Foundation’s charitable efforts, including the 2025 Fieldstone Music Festival—a major annual fundraiser that helps uplift community members facing financial, housing and food insecurities in the communities served by Citizen Advocates and affiliates.

The donation will directly benefit the Fieldstone Fund, an emergency resource designed to meet the basic human needs of individuals and families experiencing urgent hardship. With Fieldstone’s home of Franklin County ranking third in New York State for child poverty and local demand for help at an all-time high, this support comes at a critical time.

“At OneGroup, we believe in building stronger communities by contributing to something bigger than ourselves,” said Matt Maguire, Regional President, North Country for OneGroup. “We’re proud to partner with the Fieldstone Foundation to ensure local families have access to vital resources when they need them most.”

“Community is at the heart of everything we do,” said Allen Racine, Vice President, Commercial Banking Team Leader at Community Bank. “Supporting causes that provide basic needs like food, shelter and health care—including mental health—is core to our values. There’s a reason ‘community’ comes before ‘bank’ in our name.”

Together with its subsidiary companies, Community Financial System, has proudly contributed more than $3.9 million in charitable donations and sponsorships—supporting over 2,200 nonprofits across its footprint, creating widespread impact that is deeply felt throughout the region. Last year alone, employees volunteered more than 17,800 hours of their time, with over 400 team members serving on nonprofit boards and committees.

“Our work wouldn’t be possible without dedicated partners like OneGroup and Community Bank,” said Amanda Tagliarino, Senior Director of the Fieldstone Foundation. “Their generous investment in the people of our community is both heartening and inspiring. With their support, we are building stronger, healthier and more connected communities—where neighbors help neighbors and everyone rises together.”

This year’s Fieldstone Music Festival, supported by this gift, featured live music, family activities, food vendors, a BBQ Chicken Competition and a cornhole tournament, drawing hundreds of attendees. Proceeds directly support Fieldstone Foundation initiatives like the Backpack Program, emergency assistance through the Fieldstone Fund and community-driven partnerships that promote health, dignity and stability.

As community needs continue to grow, the Fieldstone Foundation remains steadfast in its mission to ensure no one faces life’s challenges alone. With the help of corporate partners like OneGroup and Community Bank, critical lifelines remain in place for those who need them most.
